The Department of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Occuptional Medicine, Medical University of Vienna, is currently recruiting a

PhD student

Are you currently in training as a specialist at the Medical University of Vienna and looking for a PhD thesis (N790)? If you are interested in bone metabolism and cardiac function, you are the PhD student we are looking for. We will explore biochemical parameters, bone mineral density, trabecular bone score, trabecular and cortical microarchitecture using high resolution peripheral computed tomography as well as ultrasound measures like cortical stiffness in long-term heart transplantation recipients.

  • MD in training as a specialist at the MUV
  • Ability to work independently
